Another year older...

(edit: Birthday was actually yesterday, but between work and birthday dinners I didn't have time to post! Mmm... Tippenyaki)

So this is what my "late 20s" feels like. Not too much different, to be honest, except for an increasingly nagging feeling that I should be "settling down" and "growing up" - whatever that means. Some days I feel like that ad... "I don't know what a tracker mortgage is!"

But I digress.

I thought I'd take the opportunity to find out random things that happened on my birthday in past years, courtesy of the good folks at Wikipedia. Enjoy!

The Official Birthday Meme:
1) Go to Wikipedia
2) In the search box, type your birth day and month but not the year
3) List 10 events that happened on your birthday
4) List 5 important birthdays and one death
5) List important holidays or observances (if any)

Ten things that happened on my birthday:
